The DPSS works together with specialist organisations.
Intercantonal expert group on Digital Administration of the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Chancellors
The Digital Administration expert group of the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Chancellors is responsible for the following tasks in the area of digital transformation:
- Providing expert advice to the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Chancellors (SSK) and its members;
- Supporting technical coordination between the cantons;
- Preparing strategic and technical guidelines for the SSK on matters and topics relating to ‘Digital Public Services Switzerland’ (hereinafter referred to as DPSS);
- Acting as the point of contact for the cantons on matters and topics relating to DPSS;
- Preparing draft model statements for the SSK;
- Promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience among the cantons.
The expert group meets at least twice a year.
eCH Association
The non-profit eCH Association promotes, develops and adopts eGovernment standards. Members of eCH include the Confederation, all the cantons, various communes, around 120 companies, as well as various universities, associations and private individuals.
eCH is chaired by Peppino Giarritta, Digital Public Services Officer for the Confederation and Cantons.
eOperations Switzerland AG
The mission of eOperations Switzerland AG is to jointly develop and operate IT solutions for digital government services provided by the federal government, cantons and municipalities. eOperations Switzerland provides consulting and project management services to its customers and puts services out to tender on the market as required. Its business activities are not profit-oriented.
The Swiss IT Conference (SIK) founded eOperations Switzerland Ltd in June 2018. In 2024, Digital Public Services Switzerland (DPSS) acquired SIK's shares in eOperations Switzerland and has been the majority shareholder ever since. Only Swiss public authorities and non-profit organisations of public authorities can become shareholders of eOperations Switzerland AG.
